About Us
We are Heather Ivins and John Ciambriello, a creative duo with a shared passion for exceptional design and thoughtful brand visuals.
Heather Ivins
Heather began her design career in 1993, working in the sign-making business in Stuart, Florida while still in high school. She later moved to Boston to broaden her experience, taking on graphic design roles at Fast Company magazine, Inc. magazine, and SMASH Advertising. Her journey eventually led her to New York City, where she joined AOL as a designer within its marketing department and internal creative agency. With over twenty years of industry experience, Heather brings seasoned expertise and a fresh creative perspective to every project.
Heather is also an exhibiting fine artist, working primarily in watercolor, ink, and colored pencil. She is best known for her photorealistic colored-pencil pet portraits, loose and dreamy watercolors, and bold resist paintings. Blending her artistic and design practices, she also creates licensable surface pattern designs suited for textiles, stationery, packaging, and more.
John Ciambriello
John has worked in the advertising industry since 2000, specializing in photography, high-end retouching, and compositing for fashion, beauty, and lifestyle brands. His work spans award-winning advertising campaigns, album covers, and music videos, with photo-illustration work featured in the Warner Bros. film Wonder Woman: 1984.
Beyond execution, John brings a strong art-directorial eye and a deep understanding of how imagery shapes brand identity and storytelling, with an emphasis on craft, continuity, and visual longevity. He is known for guiding cohesive visual worlds from concept through final production, bridging pre-production vision with post-production craftsmanship. His experience working closely with designers, creative directors, and brand teams allows him to contribute thoughtfully at both the conceptual and executional levels.
John is also an exhibiting fine art photographer and is available for creative portrait sessions and select special projects.
