John’s directorial debut, The Cisleroo, is a hand-illustrated, storybook-style music video for a beautiful track by the band Lord Classic. Inspired by the song’s nostalgic tone, he brought its whimsical world to life through original illustration, costume design, and animation.

A special detail: the role of the bee was played by our son, just three years old at the time, making this not only a creative milestone, but also a deeply personal, lasting memory. (He's a teenager now, and still buzzing with pride.)

Compositing and visual effects were completed in Nuke, with video capture by Pete Gibson and video editing by Roberto Serrini, rounding out a truly collaborative and heartfelt production.
