John created the artwork for Lord Classic’s self-titled debut album, featuring an elaborate gatefold spread centered around a highly detailed, hand-crafted digital photo composite inspired by an extensive and wonderfully unconventional list of ideas from the band.

Created years before AI-generated imagery became commonplace, the piece required meticulous manual compositing, retouching, and visual problem-solving to seamlessly combine countless symbolic and atmospheric elements into a single cohesive world. The final artwork blends surreal storytelling with a richly cinematic aesthetic that feels deeply connected to the music itself.
